Profile & History:
Integrated Desktop Solutions, Inc. was originally founded
in 1990 as Echo Basin Systems Consulting by Bill McNamee.
Located in southwestern Colorado, Echo Basin Systems
Consulting was a small, privately owned technical
consulting firm specializing in computer aided drafting,
database services, and desktop publishing for cultural
resource management and historical preservation firms in
the Four Corners region of the American Southwest.
In 1992, the company relocated to the Baltimore, Maryland
metro area and changed its name from Echo Basin Systems
Consulting to Integrated Desktop Solutions, Inc. Along with
the relocation and name change, Integrated Desktop
Solutions, Inc. expanded the types of services it offered
to include technology and digital media consulting. In
1997, Integrated Desktop Solutions, Inc. began offering web
design and hosting services.
In 2005, as the Internet continued to expand and digital
media became prominent, Integrated Desktop Solutions, Inc.
added digital photography and digital darkroom services to
its list of offerings. In doing so, Integrated Desktop
Solutions, Inc. launched its own in-house photography
studio called Light Imaging
Studios.
Today, Integrated Desktop Solutions, Inc. is still owned
and managed by Bill McNamee and it is a comprehensive
technology and digital media consulting firm offering
clients a wide range of services. Onsite or off, in-house
or outsourced, Integrated Desktop Solutions, Inc. is a
complete and cost-effective technology and digital media
solutions provider.
